TONGDESHENGYUAN
Product quality is the lifeline of an enterprise, and green development is the inevitable trend of the industry. Jiangxi Tongdesengyuan Nickel Industry has consistently adhered to the principle of “quality first, environmental protection priority,” establishing a comprehensive production control system that ensures product stability and reliability while fulfilling its commitment to green development. In the production process, the company employs state-of-the-art smelting equipment and technologies, optimizes production workflows, and streamlines the complex procedures of traditional smelting, thereby enhancing productivity while reducing energy consumption and pollutant emissions. In terms of quality control, the company has implemented a full-process quality inspection system spanning from raw material procurement to product shipment, introduced intelligent testing equipment for precise measurement of key parameters such as purity and impurity content, and rigorously complies with the ASTM E1587-25 international standard, ensuring that every batch of products meets both industry standards and customer requirements. On the environmental front, the company strictly enforces environmental protection policies, allocates dedicated funds to upgrade environmental protection facilities, and ensures the standardized treatment of wastewater, exhaust gases, and solid waste generated during production, thus achieving clean production. This aligns with the environmental upgrading requirements stipulated in Indonesia’s new nickel mining regulations and underscores the company’s commitment to becoming a benchmark enterprise in “green smelting.”

Nickel, as a critical strategic metal, is extensively used in numerous core industries and is deeply intertwined with both our daily lives and industrial production; it also forms the cornerstone of R&D and supply at Jiangxi Tongdeshengyuan Nickel Industry. Today, we will provide a straightforward overview of nickel’s three primary application areas, helping you understand its intrinsic value. First is the stainless steel industry, which represents nickel’s largest end-use sector, accounting for more than 60% of total consumption. Stainless steel alloyed with nickel exhibits superior corrosion resistance, high-temperature stability, and enhanced toughness, making it widely employed in construction, home appliances, food processing, and other fields. Second is the new-energy sector: with the rapid growth of electric vehicles and energy-storage technologies, nickel’s role in power batteries and energy-storage batteries is expanding steadily. Although lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries have currently squeezed the market share of high-nickel ternary batteries, the continued development of high-end electric vehicles and solid-state batteries ensures sustained demand for high-nickel products. Finally, there is the alloys sector: nickel-based alloys, created by combining nickel with other metals, offer exceptional strength and wear resistance, making them ideal for high-end applications in aerospace, mechanical manufacturing, chemical processing, and other advanced industries. The nickel products manufactured by Jiangxi Tongdeshengyuan Nickel Industry are rigorously produced in accordance with the ASTM E1587-25 international standard, with a nickel content of no less than 98% and impurity levels kept within industry-standard limits, thereby meeting the diverse needs of customers across various sectors.
As March 2026 dawned, the nickel market staged a dramatic plunge: on March 18, the average spot price of nickel plummeted by RMB 2,050 per ton in a single day, settling at RMB 138,200 per ton—a level that has now fallen below the industry’s mainstream smelting cost threshold, signaling the onset of intense intra-industry competition. According to industry analysts, the global nickel market is projected to face a supply surplus of as much as 260,000 tonnes in 2026, while demand is showing signs of “dual-engine stall”: the stainless-steel sector is experiencing slower growth due to headwinds from the property market, and demand for high-nickel ternary batteries in the new-energy segment is growing more slowly than expected. Coupled with the implementation of Indonesia’s new nickel-mining regulations and the concentrated ramp-up of hydrometallurgical smelting capacity, the nickel industry is now entering a critical phase of capacity rationalization and value reconfiguration. In response to these industry-wide shifts, Jiangxi Tongdeshengyuan Nickel Industry is taking proactive measures: on the one hand, it is optimizing its product mix, focusing on the development of high-value-added nickel products to enhance core competitiveness; on the other hand, it is strengthening cost control, streamlining production processes to reduce smelting costs, and intensifying collaboration with upstream and downstream partners to secure stable raw-material supply chains and mitigate risks from price volatility. Looking ahead, the company will continue to closely monitor industry dynamics, align with emerging trends, leverage technological upgrades to meet market challenges, and pursue steady, sustainable growth.
High-purity nickel sulfate: exists in anhydrous, hexahydrate, and heptahydrate forms. Commercial products are mostly hexahydrate, with two variants: α-type and β-type. The former is a blue tetragonal crystal, while the latter is a green monoclinic crystal.

Unlike electroless nickel plating and chemical nickel plating, electroless nickel plating deposits a nickel layer through chemical methods, while chemical nickel plating deposits a nickel layer through an external power source.
